Online Course Request Forms for Students Going INTO Grade:

Dear current PVPA students and families,

The PVPA course catalog contains information about all of the courses being offered in the 2020-21 school year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are three possible scenarios for our school model next year:

  • fully remote,

  • blended remote/in-person with social distancing, and

  • fully in-person. 

The courses listed here have been purposefully selected and designed to be able to accommodate any combination of remote or in-person scenarios through shifts in content emphasis, and instruction. We remain committed to our mission to offer our students intensive exposure to the performing arts within the context of an excellent college preparatory curriculum. Our graduation and promotion requirements have not changed.

We will be making decisions that prioritize the health and safety of every individual in our school community with guidance from the state of Massachusetts and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that will be available this summer. 

We strongly encourage students and families to review the course catalog and course descriptions.

Please make a note of the following AUDITION & INTERVIEW dates:

All auditions and interviews for Fall 2020 have been completed at this time. We will provide information about any supplemental auditions, if we schedule them for the fall.


Please make a note of the following course SCHEDULING dates:

  • First day of school: 2020-21 schedules available in PowerSchool Portal

  • First week of school: Schedule adjustments if necessary for all fall, full-year, and spring classes. Schedule changes are possible based on a limited set of conditions (see the Community Handbook)
