Hunger Banquet

The Pay It Forward Paideia had such an impact on students and staff who participated that they have decided to host a Hunger Banquet on May 15. A Hunger Banquet is a community meal and exercise that demonstrates the disproportionate distribution of wealth and, subsequently, access to foods and services. Through this powerful event, guests will be given a "taste" of how it might feel to be one of the many underprivileged and underserved who are battling poverty and hunger in our country and in our own backyards.

Friday Notes - April 24, 2015

The building is pretty quiet today, with the exception of pirates roaming the hallway, and the sound of operatic voices emanating from the dance studio. That can only mean one thing - the Pirates are coming! Next Thursday night (4/30), PVPA's annual musical goes up at the Academy of Music for four fabulous shows. Come and share in the fun as our students (and some of our talented staff) perform in the well-loved Gilbert & Sullivan comic operetta, The Pirates of Penzance.

I think that it is safe to say that spring has finally sprung. Daffodils are blooming along the south facing exterior wall by the East Annex, and the PVPA garden, with a lot of sweat equity from staff and students, is rounding into shape.
