Friends

The Friends of PVPA was founded in 2004 to provide the resources necessary to help PVPA in fulfilling its academic and performing arts missions. The Friends serve as the primary fundraising organization for PVPA to support the annual budget needs for all of PVPA's programs as well as special projects.
In December 2005 - with the generous assistance of hundreds of loyal supporters of PVPA - The Friends completed the purchase of PVPA’s campus and facilities in South Hadley.

Contributions to The Friends are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.  Our Federal Identification Number is: 20-2281886.

The Friends accepts cash gifts and credit cards as well as:

* Gifts of publicly traded stock.
* Corporate matching gifts from your or your spouse’s employer.
* Grants from private/family foundations and donor advised funds.

All donations made to The Friends are regularly transferred directly to PVPA to fulfill our donors’ gift intentions. Donors to The Friends of PVPA become members of The Backstage Club.

PVPA 2009 — 2010 Backstage Club PDF Print
All donors to the Friends of PVPA become members of the Backstage Club — PVPA's fan club — made up of parents, faculty, staff, alumni, community members, and organizations who support our work to offer outstanding educational and performing arts opportunities to young people throughout the Pioneer Valley. Through their contributions, Club members help create the extraordinary experiences — in and out of the classroom — that have come to define PVPA's unique brand of education. The Friends of PVPA thank the following members of the Backstage Club for their generous show of support during the 2009-2010 year.

In-Kind Donations PDF Print

PVPA frequently has a need for donated items and services that help support students and  teachers.

Recent contributions have included a high definition television and DVD player, musical instruments, and late model computers and printers. Our library has a need for donations of books and other materials to build its collection.

Before bringing goods to PVPA for donation, please contact PVPA’s Manager of Philanthropy, Mary Cantler, to ensure that we can accept your intended gift.

Please note: PVPA will issue gift receipts for donations of items that are in good working condition and can be put to immediate use in our academic and arts programs. The school cannot assign a dollar value to these donations.
