Recently, the PVPA Board of Trustees approved a plan to move forward with the
strategic planning process proposed by the Strategic Planning Review Committee. The Committee is made up of parents, students, faculty, staff and board members. The previous 5-Year plan’s goals were found to be fulfilled or ongoing. The current effort will result in
PVPA’s next 5-Year Strategic Plan.
In order to make the plan successful, we need input from the entire PVPA community.
During the month of May, several Listening Sessions will be scheduled to hear from all PVPA stakeholders. This means YOU! Parents, students, teachers, staff, alum, and board members are ALL encouraged to attend a Listening Session and provide concerns, ideas, and dreams for the future of PVPA.
- Saturday, May 22, 9 am to 12 pm (pastry/lunch)
- Tuesday, May 25, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm (snack/dinner)
- Thursday, May 27, 6 pm to 9 pm (dinner)
We urge everyone to take part and make your voices heard!
This is an important moment in the life of PVPA, with leadership changing at both the board and executive levels. While the school moves from adolescence to adulthood, there is an opportunity to capture broad ownership of the history and mission of the school, to honor the work of the founders, and to move forward with both vitality and a clear and inclusive direction.
This is your chance to help PVPA grow, while maintaining its wonderful legacy and spirit!
The Strategic Planning Process will take place over the next ten months, resulting in a 5-Year Plan that is aligned with the school’s Accountability Plan and its Re-Chartering Process. Input from the community will greatly assist the succession process as the school moves toward new leadership. The full Strategic Plan Process document can be found on the PVPA website.
