Students are not required to follow a specific course of study recognizing that offerings and schedule make it difficult to progress along a specific sequence of classes. Based on individual student's interest, particularly for those interested in pursuing Visual Arts or Theater Design and Production beyond PVPA, we recommend the following courses of study.

While this is not one of the foci incorporated into the requirements for graduation, some students want to pursue Fine Arts in the secondary education.
In addition to the recommended 3 classes in applied work with the performing arts, it is recommended that students wanting to build appropriate skills and develop a portfolio for admission into a fine art college try to take the following courses:
