Summer Notes - June 30, 2015

I hope the summer is off to a great start and that the only fireworks you experience this week will be those you are watching from a comfortable chair, blanket, field, rooftop or beach surrounded by friends and family. Not surprisingly, here at PVPA, it has been noisy. The first floor hallway, from the nurse's office to the theater, is completely dug up and looks like...

Friday Notes - June 12, 2015

Right from the start of May, I cannot remember a two-month stretch when we have been this busy. Dear Class of 2015,

It's your last "official" day at PVPA and I am going to miss you! Of course, we know that you will be back to visit next year. At this time of year, it is easy to focus only on the wonderful experiences we have had with members of the soon-to-be-graduated Class of 2015. Many of these amazingly talented young artists and scholars began PVPA as middle schoolers, and at the senior class meeting today, Freja Joslin handed out letters that our seniors wrote to themselves when they had Freja in 8th grade! Who knew that they would grow up so quickly.
