At this time of year, it is easy to focus only on the wonderful experiences we have had with members of the soon-to-be-graduated Class of 2015. Many of these amazingly talented young artists and scholars began PVPA as middle schoolers, and at the senior class meeting today, Freja Joslin handed out letters that our seniors wrote to themselves when they had Freja in 8th grade! Who knew that they would grow up so quickly.

May 22nd is Unity Day! That morning, PVPA students and staff will lead workshops they designed to bring our student body together around compelling issues of common concern. At the conclusion of the morning workshops, students and staff will gather outside for a community lunch and open microphone. With the date fast approaching, we really need your help.

Friday Notes - April 24, 2015

The building is pretty quiet today, with the exception of pirates roaming the hallway, and the sound of operatic voices emanating from the dance studio. That can only mean one thing - the Pirates are coming! Next Thursday night (4/30), PVPA's annual musical goes up at the Academy of Music for four fabulous shows. Come and share in the fun as our students (and some of our talented staff) perform in the well-loved Gilbert & Sullivan comic operetta, The Pirates of Penzance.
